Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away

Hello Monday. It's a new week already. On top of that, it's the last day of February. Time is going by waaaay too fast.

Two wonderful things happened this morning. First, there was light coming in through the windows when I woke up this morning. I am *so* happy that the days are finally getting longer. Hooray for more sunshine! Second, I wore flip-flops for the first time in months. I love flip flops. My feet love them too. They (my feet) are so happy to be breathing today. They're also happy that they have blue toenails (courtesy of the lovely nail polish that matched my dress this weekend).

[Follow up on yesterday's blog that didn't actually get published yesterday] ... It rained. And by rained, I mean poured. So much for sunshine and flip-flops. However, I did see the most amusing show last night, the Popovich Comedy Pet Theatre. It was super cute. And by the time the show was over, the rain had blown away. Not too shabby.
